Marc has been recognized for his leadership, creativity and positive demeanour. He was elected among his peers to represent the Province of Ontario on the Board of Directors of the ADR Institute of Canada and bestowed the distinguished STAR award by the ADR Institute of Ontario in 2020.

Marc earned a Master of Laws degree in Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School and holds the most senior designations offered to practising mediators and arbitrators in Canada, the chartered designations of the ADR Institute of Canada.

Marc lectures about dispute resolution at several law schools, has been widely published and has spoken across the continent. He is faculty at Osgoode Hall Law School's Master of Laws in Dispute Resolution program, is a Curriculum Developer and Lead Instructor at the Certificate in Dispute Resolution program at the York University School of Continuing Studies and instructs for the Canadian Collaborative for Engagement & Conflict Management.
